What I do as an Esthetician is all about healthy skin. Esthetics is the application of various treatments to the skin’s epidermal layer. As professionals, we use many different techniques best suited for your skin type including facial steaming, wrapping, exfoliation, waxing, pore cleansing, extraction, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion.
TYPES OF SKINCARE THERAPIES
Chemical Peels – An exfoliation process usually used to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, and help change the skin texture.
Exfoliation – Removal of dead skin cells with manual manipulation or chemical application.
Microdermabrasion – A technique utilizing a diamond-tip machine to to exfoliate the uppermost layers of the skin. This modality is used to treat hyperpigmentation, and uneven surface texture.
Waxing – Hair-removal technique using warm wax that is applied to the skin, allowed to cool, then removed carefully using professional techniques.
What are the expectations? We discuss your goals, skincare issues, and concerns right in your private skincare consultation before each treatment. Once we have evaluated your skin, we work together to determine a course of action to achieve those goals. This plan set just for you will likely include treatments, an at-home regimen, and follow-up appointments.
As a licensed professional, in addition to providing face and body treatments for personal use, we can educate clients on proper cleansing, exfoliation, hydration, and stimulating regimens for home care support between visits. We can supply you with information on lifestyle choices such as nutrition and exercise to further support your skin health.
